And even more about eating

Sorry to make so much of this about eating.  But that's about all you're good for when you're visiting foreign people.  We really enjoyed eating BBQ at the home of a Chinese doctor (Gen. Prac.), Dr. Teh (pronounced "Tay").  He's seated second from the right, with his wife, Linda.  At the far right is Kai Keong.  All of them spoke fluent English and were very engaging in conversation.  Their children were as lively and playful as you expect all kids to be.  I like it that these sweet people are as interested in us as Americans as we are in them as Chinese and SE Asians.  They are also believers who attend the church I'll be speaking at this Sunday.

We had perfect weather for most of the BBQ, and they attributed that to mine and Maria's presence.  But it later began to rain, which, of course, was Craig's fault.

While there we received an unexpected visit from the man who's as famous around the world as Saint Nicholas.  Yes, the ice cream man!  Except here he totes his cooler of ice cream and plays his chimey music from a really cool motorcycle.  Ice cream men back home should learn from this.  After all, you can cover a lot more ground faster and pocket a lot more cash from a motorcycle instead of poking along in an old truck?  It's not like the kids won't catch up to you.  You're the ice cream man, for Pete's sake!  (Okay, I'll settle down now.)
